The Application process

The BSc Earth System Physics program starts yearly with admission in winter term.

Application period: 1 June to 15 July

Admission requirements: 

• In order to study at University Hamburg you need to have an A-level certificate (or an analogue high school certificate for international applicants). The BSc program Earth System Physics is physics-orientated. A sixth form/senior class basic knowledge of mathematics and physics is therefore quite helpful.
• To enroll in this program proof of sufficient English language proficiency is required in order to reasonably follow the lectures taught in English. English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages must be demonstrated.
