Climate Modelling
What dynamics and processes control climate variability and predictability on subseasonal to decadal timescales? Our research focuses on the role of the ocean in the climate system, investigating large-scale atmospheric and oceanic circulations as well as regional extremes. We use earth system models and machine learning methods for both basic and applied research.
