Coastal systems, analysis and modelling
The research area “Coastal systems, analysis and modelling” is researched and organized by Prof. Dr. Corinna Schrum through the Institute of Coastal systems. Prof. Dr. Corinna Schrumm is at the same time a professor at the Institute of Oceanography and at the Helmholtz Zentrum Hereon. The research group investigates the changes in coastal systems in regards to physical, ecological and socio-economic factors. The research areas are the reconstruction of past states of the environmental system, the development of prediction systems and future scenarios for coastal systems.

The Bachelor and Master theses were carried out within the study program of the Institute of Oceanography.
