We are happy to announce that on January 28, 2025, Mohammad Basir Uddin successfully defended his Master's thesis on the "Impact of Autumn North Atlantic Sea Surface Temperature on European Winter Temperature". For his in-depth analysis, Basir applied a bi-directional neural network with explainable artificial intelligence approach on more than 8000 years of CMIP6 MPI grand ensemble simulations. Congratulations, Basir!
