My research is all about understanding the complexities of our climate using advanced modelling techniques. I'm particularly interested in studying climate extremes through large ensemble modelling and statistical climatology to investigate climate extremes. A significant aspect of my work involves developing and applying detection and attribution methods to discern the anthropogenic influences on extreme weather events and how these climate extremes interact with the carbon cycle, focusing especially on high latitudes.

Currently, my research is centred on Arctic wildfires, a growing concern in the context of climate change, and their attribution to anthropogenic causes, aiming to understand the extent of human influence on these events.
